Nvidia has just released a new package for buyers of its high-end GPUs. The new package is called 'Prepare For Battle' and is available to buyers of GeForce GTX 1080 or GTX 1070 graphics cards and PC or notebook gaming systems with preinstalled GPUs.
Buyers of the aforementioned Nvidia hardware, from qualified dealers, can claim their choice of Ubisoft's For Honor, or Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands for free. So that's one of those two games. The promotion of Nvidia begins at the time of the publication of this news. However, you will have to wait for the official pitches of the respective games to be able to play. For Honor goes retail on February 14, while Ghost Recon Wildlands leaves on March 7.
To recap the games on offer, we have looked at For Honor previously when Ubisoft published the minimum and Recommended PC system specifications. The game is described as a multiplayer and multiplayer fast-paced and multiplayer action title that sees the Knights, Samurai, and Vikings competing in hand-to-hand combat and requires tactical thinking and quick reflexes. Nvidia adds that a "soft 60 FPS does not hurt either since no one wants to blame 'stuttering graphics' for losing a match!"
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is the first military shooter in a massive open world that you can play alone or in a four-player cooperative, says Ubisoft. The main objective of the game is to shoot down the Santa Blanca poster. In Ubisoft's biggest open-action adventure world so far, you have the ability to fully customize your ghost, your weapons, and your equipment.
New for this free game promotion is a simplified way to use your free game code to claim the game you want. Nvidia says that those registered with the GeForce experience can file their claim through the application, circumventing "long registration pages".
Remember that if you are in the market for a new GTX 1080 or 1070 or PC so equipped, you should make sure to purchase from a qualifying dealer to get your free game code.
