"I Do not Think It Would Hurt" Keep Your Mass Effect Andromeda Saving, says Creative Director

Mass Effect Creative Director Andromeda Mac Walters has responded to a series of community-based questions in a new interview on YouTube, courtesy of Game Informer.

What pieces would you mix between the best RPGs on your PC?

Among the most interesting things is that BioWare "thinks a lot about Andromeda as a series." Like the Ryders and "" We do not have to do that, "says Walters, so Andromeda is not focused on trilogy, but we've heard it before, Pathfinder (s) "will appear in some form in the next game. Maybe we'll get more of that awkward reference based on previous characters in the style of" The Hero of Ferelden ".

When asked directly if fans should save their archived Andromeda files, Walters said, "I do not think it can hurt."

Other new information suggests that design tips will be taken from various games, including Dragon Age: Inquisition and The Witcher 3, particularly with respect to balancing search density and integration. Each planet will have a unique history, with many secondary searches that are intertwined through it and / or the main narrative. The planets will also have their own character, with zones varying in size depending on whether they are intended to use the Nomad or explore on foot, and some emphasize the game while others are more about history.

We also learn that the Krogan genomic state will be addressed in Andromeda, that exploration is the core of the game and therefore the stakes are not high in the time-pressed Reaper plot, and that production is currently in The Polishing and Balancing "Phase.

The PC version will have native controller support. And no, they are not talking about the Quarians yet.

The video is worth watching, but you can also find a point-by-point break in NeoGAF.
