Mafia 3 Launches morning, but you can check out our list of upcoming PC games to see further.

"Currently, we have a run here in the studio patch that includes 30, 60, and an unlimited number of options of frames per second in the video menu, among other improvements for the PC version of Mafia III" reads the statement through Steam. "We are verifying the patch now to ensure that everything is working as expected. If all goes well, we expect the update to go live this weekend. Let's keep-updated PC on the status of the patch community to long weekend and thanks for all the feedback! "

Hopefully that means we hear more of them if there are delays, or early release if anything negative is. It's a shame this had to happen after liberation, considering the predictability of complaints regarding the frame rate, adequate support mouse and other items these days. PC users, particularly those on Steam with access to reviews and refunds, simply do not accept more.

Updated October 6, 2016: Hangar 13 have released an official statement on the 30fps cap 3 PC mafia, saying they are working on an update for it to be unlocked, along with plenty of other options specific PC.

In the post, developers discuss how they first focused on making sure that the game was consistent across all platforms, but are now looking to make the PC version is as good as it can be.

"We know the importance of options that best performance capabilities of your PC are fit," says the official message. "The team has been working hard to ensure that the performance of the Mafia 3 is consistent across all platforms, and now the game runs at a solid 30 frames per second. We are currently working on an update for PC will give players the option to play Mafia III at a rate higher frame rates. "

Apparently we will hear about this update "very soon". Until then, the team says they are looking for feedback and want PC gamers who tell them what other setting options they want in the game.

"We are actively considering a number of further improvements after the PC release that would give players more control over how you can adapt the gaming experience to meet the performance of its platform," he says. "It has been an incredible journey mafia development of 3 and we could not be more excited to get the game into their hands and hear what you think!"

Original story October 6, 2016: It seems Hangar 13 game in an open world crime, the mafia 3 could be locked at 30 fps on PC, if the pre-release code is anything to go by.

Currently, there is no code review to confirm, but PC Gamer we do, and we have published a post on the performance of current PC game.

After receiving the code this afternoon, the reviewer says the game was "slow", so I started Fraps and saw it was running at 30 fps blocked with GTX 970 overclocked i5-6600K, and 16 GB of RAM.

They tried to get the higher frame rate by turning the resolution up to 720p and set the game on its lower graphics settings, but still the game at 30 fps cruise. We have also had this confirmed by other independent game that is reviewing the PC.

Of course, this could be set in an area of one day, or perhaps with a game controller ready, but for now that's what it is. The game is unlocked at midnight, so not much time for a review if one comes. Perhaps it is unlocked with the commercial version. Time will tell.

A steam angry reviewer has already beaten the game for his performance, after 0.1 hours of playing time in history. We'll update when we get hold of PC code ourselves.
